About

I work with individuals and couples/multi-partner relationships to navigate the complexities, contradictions, beauty, and pain of the human experience. In therapy, I bring warmth, empathy, and humor, and I’m unafraid to challenge and sit in discomfort. My goal is to create an environment where folks can reconnect with their existing power, recognize resilience, and build the trust in these resources to support psychological growth, emotional healing, and a greater capacity to face the world.

I’m guided by values of social justice and liberation. I specialize in providing affirming and supporting care to queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients. However you show up, my goal is to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and collaboration, so we can explore together what feels most supportive and meaningful for you.

Outside of work, I’m also a full person! I’m a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner, a runner, and a devoted fan of live art, from classical opera and ballet to experimental theater to underground techno. I’ve appeared on the No Such Thing podcast to discuss my approach to therapy and help demystify the process. I also write a newsletter on Substack called Reality Test, where I explore how therapy is portrayed in culture and media, and share some of my own reflections on the mental health system.

I earned my Masters in Social Work with a clinical focus from Columbia University and my Bachelors from UC Berkeley studying social theory and power in modern society. My clinical experience includes facilitating psychoeducation and mental health support groups to older adults and people living with dementia in supportive housing, and providing ketamine-assisted therapy and psychedelic integration therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in corporate management, which gave me insight into the political and social realities of corporate life under capitalist demands. These experiences continue to shape the care, patience, and curiosity I bring to therapy today.
